Daneson

Toothpicks - Single Malt No.16

Scotch was born of a painful requirement for patience. It must be aged in oak barrels for a minimum of three years - the amount of time it took Daneson to capture the subtlety of this Islay, single malt scotch in their toothpicks.

So be patient with this blend, it's boozy, peaty flavour - from a 200 year old distillery - requires some time on the tongue to warm and reveal.

"...A mate has slipped me a couple of your whisky toothpicks back here in London. They're amazing." - Luke, London UK

As a general rule Daneson likes to under-promise and over-deliver - with this in mind each bottle has a minimum of a dozen toothpicks.

Painstaking to capture in a sliver of wood, Daneson's select blends are made with barrel aged spirits, in a process unique to Daneson, that flashes away the alcohol and leaves the essence of a spirit - botanicals, extracts and phenols - deep in their birch lumber.
